As you  live your life and take the time to look into yourself and all lessons life  brings, you then begin to awaken. You,  may notice like many others have that  everything that you believed before may not have the basis or facts to stand on  anymore. You can allow yourself to grow and to develop new eyes in which to view  the daily activities you choose to participate in day after day after day. These  activities may not be bringing you joy happiness and or the satisfaction that  you deserve. You have the option to choose again the only question remaining  is “will you choose again?”

In  order to do that we must first review everything from different set of  innocent eyes this is also called a paradigm shift, try to remove the judgments  that you have placed on the events that transpired in your life and see the  lesson in the event. It has been demonstrated that the more tragic the event the  more in depth the lesson that is available for learning. I found this difficult  to do at times but with prayer and quiet time it always seems to surface. I was  at a point in my life where I found myself wondering why I was feeling stuck. I  just couldn't shake it, I kept doing the same things the same way and it was  making me miserable.

Is  this you or someone that you know?

Lifting Them Up! Is here to show you how to change your life how to move  your thoughts away from creating the same situation over and over again with a  different abuser.

Lifting Them Up! is about Praxis, we are here to show you how  to do the work that is necessary to Change your life. We could give hand outs  like other organizations which help tremendously but, do not solve the issue at  the root.

It is  our intention to teach you how to re-create your life on all levels Mentally,  Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually. We are constructing classes and  workshops coaching sessions as well and activities specifically designed to  re-train our thinking we are creating classes for both the survivor as well as  the abuser.

We  have been asked plenty of times why would you address the abuser? People will not  want to have anything to do with your organization if you include them. We feel  that the abuser is a huge part of the problem as well. Seeing that  9 out of 10 abusers have either witnessed abuse or been abused as well. If we  recall the statement correctly “hurt people hurt people” we intend to get to  the root of the issue and that cannot happen with just the survivor as we see  from the years of programs and incarceration with no decrease in the Domestic Violence epidemic.

As a part of our movement we desire to create new laws that will support  these changes in society for the offenders this would include MANDATORY classes  for them to attend to look at themselves to bring about the awareness of their  dysfunction to combat this and save lives. How many lives are too many to lose?  When will we stop avoiding the issue and deal with it directly. We are willing  to start. Are you ready for Change?
